This past weekend we had the pleasure of making a lady bug themed 1st birthday cake for a beautiful girl named Lani.
We really enjoyed making this cake because we love love love working with bright, playful colors!
The cake was accompanied by a small smiling lady bug.:)
The lady bugs were carved out of vanilla cake.
Flavors included a pink and green marble vanilla cake, red velvet cake as well as a nigerian-style pink vanilla cake- all with vanilla swiss meringue buttercream.
Happy Birthday Lady Lani!

The board was also decorated with chocolate Eiffel towers.
